Kagara Limited Class Action

In 2016, Piper Alderman (funded by IMF Bentham) commenced legal proceedings against certain former directors of Kagara (ASX:KZL) on behalf of shareholders who acquired shares in Kagara Limited on or after 29 September 2010.

The claim alleged that certain directors of Kagara made misleading representations to the market and did not disclose certain information to the market.

Current Stage of Case

The proceedings were settled by the parties, with no admission of liability by the respondents. The settlement was approved by the Federal Court in 2018.
