CoreStaff is a labour hire company. In 2011, a number of employees accepted a 3-year fixed term employment contract with Corestaff. These employees were then on-hired to Corestaff clients at mine sites in Western Australia. In November 2012, Corestaff terminated the employment contracts of these employees.
How much will it cost?
The claim is being run on a no win - no pay basis, with all costs fully underwritten by IMF. If you sign a funding agreement with IMF, you will not have to pay any fees unless the claims are successfully resolved. IMF will pay the other side's legal costs if the claim is unsuccessful.
