You can sign up to obtain Omni Bridgeway’s funding by completing the online Funding Agreement and Solicitor Retainer in 6 quick steps:

  • We recommend you complete the 6 steps in one sitting. However, if you are unable to do so, we will email a link to you so you can continue the process at a later time.
  • Once you have completed the Funding Agreement online, you will be able to access your details at any time via your personal account in Omni Bridgeway's client portal.

To be eligible to participate in the Facebook Privacy Breach Class Action, you must:
  1. currently have, or previously had, a personal Facebook account that was affected by the Facebook privacy breach;
  2. used Facebook in Australia between 2010 and March 2015;
  3. received, and can provide a copy of the message from Facebook advising that your information was shared with Cambridge Analytica as a result of you or one of your friends using This Is My Digital Life.
Note: Company or business Facebook accounts are not eligible to claim.
Go to https://www.facebook.com/help/yourinfo, and you can check if your information was shared with Cambridge Analytica.
The claim details and Funding Agreement should be completed by the holder of the Facebook account affected.
To sign up online you will not need to refer to any documentation. If you had a Facebook account that was affected you will need to provide the details of the account and answer some basic questions in relation to your account.
The class action is being run on a no win - no pay basis, with all costs fully underwritten by Omni Bridgeway and the Lawyers. If you sign a funding agreement with Omni Bridgeway, you will not have to pay any fees unless the claims are successfully resolved. Omni Bridgeway will pay the other side's legal costs if the class action is unsuccessful.
The Lawyers are Johnson Winter and Slattery (JWS).
Both Omni Bridgeway's Funding Agreement and the JWS Legal Costs & Disclosure Statement are subject to a 21-day cooling off period during which time you may terminate either agreement by following the notice requirements set out in each of the agreements. You may use this cooling off period to obtain separate legal advice about the agreements you have entered into if you wish to do so.
MyIMF is a client portal whereby you can log in and see details of the Omni Bridgeway funded claims you have signed up to participate in. You can update your contact details and access information that is related to your claims.
Yes. At this stage it is proposed that the class action will only be brought on behalf of those persons who have entered into a Funding Agreement with Omni Bridgeway as at the date proceedings are commenced.
